*Contact your grant administrator to see if your building qualifies as having more than one storefront.

Match requirement

For every dollar you receive from the City grant, you must supply matching dollars.

• In areas with a 1 to 2 match, you must supply $2.00 for every grant dollar you receive.
• In areas with a 1 to 1 match, you must supply $1.00 for every grant dollar you receive.
• In areas with a 1 to ½ match, you must supply 50 cents for every grant dollar you receive.

Matching dollars can come from any non-Great Streets source. Examples include company funds and loans.

Reimbursement

• This is a reimbursement program.
• The grant administrator sends you a check after you pay for the total project cost or total private match.

More details

• A business can apply for a grant many times. Each business's total grants cannot go over the area's maximum limit.
• A storefront can have up to two full grants over a five-year period.
• If you've received matching grants in previous years, talk to your grant administrator. They will check if you qualify for a second grant.
