- City Council approves site for South Minneapolis Community Safety Center.
- Safety Design & Implementation builds out:
- Steering committee
- Workgroup
- City Council approves $1 million to contract with New York University School of Law Policing Project.
- The group will help to build out the community safety ecosystem.

Director hired and resulting work
- OCS hires Director of Community Safety Design & Implementation, Amanda Harrington.
- Policing Project site visit to meet Design and Implementation team.
- Work starts on the Lake Street Community Safety Center.

Approach to putting work into action
- Build out a team approach to our work to manage how we put our community safety vision into action.
- City signs purchase agreement for South Minneapolis Community Safety Center.
- This is located at 2633 Minnehaha Avenue.
- City begins asset and gaps analysis.
