How to use the dashboard

What to know

In this dashboard we lists dogs and cats that found dead within the last 30 days. Some may have been severely hurt or sick when we found them and we had to put them down.

What to do if you are missing a dog or a cat

Check these dashboard details:

  • Pickup date
  • Pickup location
  • Animal description

If you find a likely match:

  • Call Minneapolis Care & Control.
  • Give us the dashboard ID of the likely match.
  • We will explain the next steps.

Timeline for holding remains

Every Monday, we dispose of the remains of animals found during the previous seven days.

If your pet has been missing for more than 30 days, you can submit a data request with the City Clerk’s office.
