Project overview

Public Works staff plan to remove and add a new layer of asphalt on the streets in this area.

This project is part of an ongoing street maintenance program. We replace the top layer of asphalt pavement, which extends the life of a street between larger reconstructions. The new pavement should last about 10 years.

Schedule

We will begin replacing select curb and gutter the week of September 12^th.

We will begin to mill and overlay the streets the week of September 26th.

Traffic impacts

Blocks will be intermittently closed to traffic during asphalt milling and paving for brief periods of time.
