After months of negotiating, LiUNA Local 363 members voted to accept the City of Minneapolis’ contract offer affecting approximately 440 City employees within the Public Works and Property Services Departments.
This agreement brings a historic wage increase spread over the next three years and was reached after negotiations that began in October 2023, including a several-month mediation period.
“I am grateful to our Local 363 employees and to our team of labor negotiators who worked diligently for months to come to an agreement that recognizes the value of our hardworking employees and the services they provide to our residents,” said City Operations Officer Margaret Anderson Kelliher.
The City appreciates the hard work Local 363 members conduct every day to deliver snow plowing and clearing, trash and recycling collection, water treatment, and other key City services.
The ratified contract will move to the City Council for approval.
