Background

In 2016, we received a federal grant to study the history of Native Americans in Minneapolis.

We hired a consultant team who:

    • Completed an architectural history survey of places across the city that reflect Native American heritage
    • Took photos and researched the history
    • Wrote the historic context

We are grateful to everyone who shared information and their stories.
