Your monthly stormwater management utility fee helps pay for our city's stormwater management system.

This system:

• Protects and improves water quality in our rivers, streams, wetlands 
• Conserves stormwater resources
• Prevents flooding, erosion and pollution

Everyone who owns property in Minneapolis pays for this service

• The fee appears on your monthly utility bill. 
• We base it on the amount of impervious surface area on your property.
• There are no exclusions for organizations with nonprofit tax status.
• You can reduce your utility bill by earning stormwater credits.
