Commercial stormwater credit application
Complete this form to apply for a credit.
Before you begin
Be sure you have the required application materials:
- Basic Salt Management Plan (SMP)
- Maps, plans, and diagrams detailing:
- The drainage for the entire site including:
- Drainage area delineations to each stormwater management facility.
- Impervious area for each delineation and facility.
- All related infrastructure to the stormwater management facilities, including pre-treatment, inlets, outlets, storm pipes, manholes and underdrains
- Any connection points to the City of Minneapolis stormwater system
- The drainage for the entire site including:
- Provide modeling information or calculations to prove that credit criteria are met as follows:
- Water Quality Credit: Provide water quality model inputs and results using one of these models
- P8 (version 2.4 or newer)
- WinSLAMM (version 9.4 or newer)
- MIDS Calculator
- Rate control credits:
- HydroCAD
- XP SWMM
- EPA SWMM
- Volume control credit:
- Calculation in conjunction with HydroCAD
- Water Quality Credit: Provide water quality model inputs and results using one of these models
- Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Plan: Include pollution prevention practices for the properties, such as covering material storage areas.
- Advanced SMP (if applying for Advanced SMP Credit Type): This is separate from the Basic SMP and must demonstrate that winter maintenance practices are reducing and/or eliminating salt use in applicable areas.
